This is a great opportunity to have your fire extinguishers inspected and certified, whether for your rental or personal use.

The fees by Reel are discounted here at the Point.  It is not only the most cost effective way to get it done; it is the most convenient way. 

Rental Permit Application Procedure

For those who rent their properties, the fire inspection must be completed before your rental application is sent to the Borough.  The Rental Fire Inspector will check the extinguishers and smoke detectors (and if needed the carbon monoxide detectors).

  To recap:

1. Have fire extinguishers inspected.

2. Replace batteries in smoke detectors (and carbon monoxide detector, if necessary).

3. Call for inspection: Bill Gibson, Rental fire Inspector at 609-224-7015.

4. After inspection, submit rental application with your check.  If you have misplaced the rental application that was mailed to you, you can find an application on the website: CMPNJ.com
